Pool Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking experienced and/or entry-level civil and structural engineers and designers with at least a Bachelor’s degree in either structural or civil engineering.

• Professional registration as a P.E. is considered a plus, but not required.

• Job duties would include design of reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber structures; design of foundation systems and retaining walls, etc.

The position would allow the applicant to become thoroughly familiar with building codes and design standards for use throughout California.

Applicant will have direct contact with contractors and plan checkers.

Applicants would be working under the supervision of three (3) California licensed professional civil engineers.

• AutoCAD drafting skills are considered a plus.

Experience with any of the following software is considered a plus:

AutoCAD, MathCAD, RetainPro, Enercalc, SAP, Risa, Staad-Pro, Safe, Algor, CSI Column, Microsoft Office.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Salary is compensatory based on experience and qualifications.
