As an Associate Engineer for Pool Engineering, Inc., Todd Lacher acts as both a team manager as well as our main problem solver.
Todd graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. He currently attends the California Polytechnic University at Pomona as a participant in their Masters of Science degree program for Structural Engineering.
Todd is a Licensed Civil Engineer in both California, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington, and is a member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
Todd has grown up around swimming pools as both his father and brother have worked in the industry for a combined 40 years. Because of this, he has gained a valuable insight into the industry and has coupled that knowledge with his natural engineering abilities.
Prior to his employ with Pool Engineering, Inc., Todd worked for a leading San Diego Civil Engineering firm specializing in the development of large-scale residential housing projects. While working with this firm, Todd learned about all aspects of residential land development, including grading, drainage as well as development planning.
The combination of Todd's prior development experience and his masterful knowledge of structural engineering has made Todd one of Pool Engineering, Inc.'s main resources. He specializes in helping our clients with plan check and inspection issues, as well as helping to bail clients out of some of the more frustrating mistakes.
Todd is a designer, a customer service expert, and our lead damage control specialist and is just one of the many resources our clients may utilize as a client of Pool Engineering, Inc.
